Not wise or legal action still... and the issue I'd be concerned with is if it is true that he is 20 pounds over his alleged playing weight. He may have played heavier than the accounted 245 in all likelyhood.

I think the extra weight says a hell of a lot more about him than a ridiculous "boating while having four beers" charge does.

the most ridiculous thing about it is how those canucks might not let him cross the border because of a drinking related conviction...

Boating while intoxicated sounds fucking fun as shit. :lmao:

It is.

I can't knock the guy I've driven a boat drunk a couple times. There are precautions you can take, obviously you don't do it in a crowded area going fast at all.

He wanted to have fun during the one month he won't be freezing his ass off. I don't blame him.

Oh yeah, he was never at 245. There was a while where he was listed at 260. That seems a lot closer. When you have guys like Rob Blake saying how you just can't move Buff... you know he's packing some heft.

I've been boating up in northern Minnesota more than a few times. I thought it was illegal to be sober.

As long as he wasn't with Bryant McKinne and Dante Culpepper and calling hookers up from Atlanta to party he'll be fine.

boating while intoxicated can be dangerous...but around here (Lake Cumberland "House Boat Capital of the World") they just tell you to let someone else drive and make sure there's enough life-jackets for everyone on board. Water-Patrol here understand we need to the out-of-state money - haha.
