I was hoping they would have been forced to trade him but that was an obvious pipe dream.

Yeah they have some $ and extending him would actually lower his cap, making it easier to sign their other FAs. will be interesting to see what happens with Higgins.

They have to tag him and trade him or at least run it back one last time. Interesting that they signed Al Golden to be their DC. They don’t have the corners to support his blitz heavy scheme that leaves them on an island all game. You can get away with that in college but it won’t work in the NFL.
