:yep:

It's hilarious because who the heck has a drink on the sidelines anyway? At least while they're coaching and stuff...

Attention Nets: There are two intruders in your huddle.

Do you not notice the two Lakers standing next to you? You're having a little team huddle and don't notice that two members of the OTHER TEAM are poking their heads in there? Oh, Nets.

Kidd cheated for a timeout.........and it still backfired because the Lakers watched them draw up the play  .

That is one of the oldest tricks in the book Kidd pulled off. Many great coaches have done the same thing. Nothing different.

This stupid gaff aside, Kidd seems completely overwhelmed as the Nets coach. The players are totally disinterested in his methodology (and the fact that the roster is ancient, but whatever....). This trade really looks to be backfiring on them, and when you consider all the future picks they gave up (none of them protected!), it could be a disaster for quite some time.

Maybe, but I never saw it before. Also, I don't ever remember a coach being fined for doing it.

I've never seen a coach spill a drink before, if that's what you mean. But delaying the game intentionally to buy some time to draw a play, sure.

Phil Jackson used it as his bread and butter. He'd bring it to the limit w a ref while the assistants worked w the players

Can we send them Lu for an unprotected 1st Rounder in 2020?

Just when you thought Brooklyn couldn't get any dumber, they trade for KG and Paul Pierce, then hire this clown as head coach. Not sure who is more dysfunctional and stupid, the Nets or the Knicks.
