It is easier to move from 2B to 3B then from 1B/corner OF to 3B, but I agree with this in principle. As an interesting note, he has played the most games at 3B in any year of his career this season.

Yeah. I heard that KW brought it up in a meeting and it was immediately shot down by everyone else in the room.
I'd like to see the Sox make a move for the 3B via trade honestly. Short term fix until a young guy can do it.
