[OT]: Different worlds

I am watching the DAL-NYK game right now and what comes to my mind is one simple thing.

The Bulls have a 32-8 record right now the best record in the league.They have the best record on the road.They have played the most games in the league and the most road games in the league.They have beaten many playoff teams on the road.(Lakers,Celtics,Spurs,76ers,Clippers,Magic,Wolves).They lost by the Heat on the road in the last second too.They had many injuries until now and they still have..

Despite of that everybody is talking about trades that the Bulls must do to have chances to be in the Final.Many analysts and Chicago Bulls fans don't even see the team in the ECF too if the team remain with the same roster.

And lets go to the different world now.

The Knicks is a below 0.500 team.They have a 18-20 record.They haven't play difficult games so far.They have 3 more games against the Bulls,3 more games against the Heat,3 more games against Indiana,2 more games against the Magic,2 more games @Atlanta,2 more games against Philly.

Everyone admitted that they suck and then Lin came to save their day.That guy saved their asses.I admit it.Without him they would be out of the playoffs.But again with him they can't beat a playoff team.They have a terrible record against playoff teams.They are in danger to lose the playoffs but luckily the Bucks don't have Bogut this year.They lost the Heat game very easily.The Celtics beat them.The Mavericks were beating them right now pretty easily.They needed the Mavs to fall asleep for 8 minutes in the 4th (0 points) allowing them a 15-0 run to take the lead in the game just to lose it more dramatically by 10+ points in the end..

And their fans and many analysts BELIEVE that this team is capable of wining the championship!They mention this team in every conversation about the championship.The funny is that many Bulls fans are jealous of this team and they dare to compare them with the Bulls.

Please can someone give me a reasonable explanation why this thing is happening?I only want a good reason.Is it the big market?Is it the 2 big names that they have that seems better than the 2 all star players the Bulls have?Is it that people has Special person opinions?Give me one good reason plz!

There isn't any good reason.
Maybe its because they are interesting to talk about. :dunno:
Maybe the media wants to see a matchup between Melo and Lebron.
Don't worry, The knicks don't appear to be any real threat yet. There chemisstry is god awful.
Maybe if they can get rid of Melo, they can be a respectable team like they were while Melo was injured.
Cancer really sucks. Maybe one day there will be a cure for MeloCancer.

Because people are stupid. The Knicks aren't going anywhere, with or without Jeremy Lin. BUT, we can't deny that the Knicks are a much better team (granted that isn't saying much) with him than without him.

ESPN likes to give story legs. They actually said that Melo having to conform to Lin. Comical stuff. They did the same thing with Tebow by saying his detractors were angry with religious beliefs when it was his deplorable play. They spin things. Thats what happens when they let a guy like Skip Bayless get a platform.

Because Bulls fans are never happy with the team they have these days. They always want another team's star instead of focusing on THIS team and how much winning they are doing. If you didn't know the records, you'd think the Bulls are 5th or 6th in the East instead of having the best record in the entire league.

ESPN just want the Knicks to be great again, so they they hype them up for no good reason. I'm personally tired of the disrespect this team gets from the media and from the fans who cry and moan about Howard or Melo, or Wade or Bosh or T-Mac or whoever not coming here. I don't care about players that don't want to play here and I'm certainly not going to pine over them and beg.

Call me basketball Special person or whatever, but I want this team to be it's best and right now it's winning despite of the injuries and trade talks and impatience from the fans. I don't know how you can get better than the best record in the league.

During the Spurs champiionship runs they didn't get the best media attention either.
Must be because the Bulls and Spurs focused mainly on defense and the media loves offense more. :dunno:
Maybe they find it more entertaining.
And the media loves players that dance.

Don't worry, the Bulls will shut thosse idiots up when they get fitted for there campionship rings.
