Baker's Square used to make a Chocolate Cream Pie which I maintain beats French Silk.
French Silk is honestly the worst pie.
Bonus: When I was a teenager we drove up Mt Lemon near Tucson, AZ and at the top there was a tiny pie shop in a shack.
You could get a large slice of pie and tea, coffee, water, or hot chocolate.
Best piece of cherry pie I've ever had, but the lady who made those died.

I judged a 4-H, country fair pie contest. Sounds like fun (and it was) but 8 blueberry pies followed by 8 cherry pies, followed by, guess what, more pie. Sugar cream pie is an old family tradition. Can take it or leave it.

Fun fact, the former Baker's Square in Palatine became its own restaurant called Village Inn.
However, they still sell Baker's Square pies, full ones and basically the entire pie menu.
