Mark it down... Howard will be a Clipper by the trade deadline. With their trade to get Paul, they'll obviously have to bring in a third or even fourth team in order to get Orlando the required assets to make this trade work. But hot damn -- Paul, Griffin, and Howard. Lob fuckin' City.

First of all...putting JR Smith in this conversation is silly. Secondly, Howard chooses where he goes...in case you didn't notice. That is not a decision Paxson makes. Finally, the Bulls have always been aggressive in pursuing the best players in the league.

If those players don't want to come to Chicago, what is Paxson supposed to do? Lebron didn't want to come here. Howard doesn't want to come here. So to blame Paxson...for what? Not changing their minds? I would think you guys could think a little bit deeper than that...that is not reality.

clips won't get howard unless they bring in a 3rd team. Even then it'll be difficult.

They already gave up their prized 1st round pick [from the T-wolves I think?], eric gordon and chris kaman. Unless the magic would be willing to settle for Jordon, Mo williams, foye, butler, or some combination of those, howard won't be in L.A.

Actually I'm pretty certain Orlando decides where Howard goes, not Dwight.

They will take the best deal they feel that they get for their team. Exactly what assets do the Clippers have to offer to Orlando? Sure he could go there in free agency, but I'm sure Orlando will deal him before then if they feel he's going to leave.

That's a lie......Pax is too tight in the deal making process department and wants them to kneel before the bulls logo for less money...and holds on to players that should be traded too long....And when he does make a trade, he gets shit in return...And as far as free agent signings, he signs old cheap players that are around for less than 2 seasons..and over pays former superstars like wallace and trades them off the next year....and he overpays some of his garbage he has now.....but refuses to pay high prices for someone who's worth it...and pax gets absolutely no credit for bringing Rose here.....that was pure luck and a gift...kind of a miricle...or Stern set it up to make a big market city like chicago viable again in his nba....don't be fooled and start swingin on paxs nutts.....And whether things are completly Paxs fault or not, he is the GM and is responsible for all personel moves....Skiles got fired for somthing that wasn't his fault....the same rule should apply for his many mistakes too.......And you ask why did I bring up JRSmith??? Because it has a lot to do with it because he is the perfect missing piece that Pax has the power to make happen if he plays his cards right...and I don't want tto see another onity shot down.....When playoff time comes, we will face these people.

Most of what you say is unfounded. Show me where Pax refused to go after the elite players in the league. Show me where the Bulls have been cheap (if you bring up Ben Gordon....don't bring up Ben Gordon) with players. Their whole frontcourt is overpaid.

And before you call the whole frontcourt garbage...you were the one who claimed earlier this season that the Bulls were "Deng's team".

So they are either cheap or they over pay? Which one is it? That doesn't make sense to me. You can't overpay cheaply, or cheaply overpay...

Who gives a damn about Skiles? Skiles quit! And that was because he felt his team quit on him. Why is Pax the blame for that? There is nothing about J.R. Smith that is perfect. Dwight Howard would be perfect for this team. J.R. is a good player and exhibits a lot of qualities that I think the Bulls need to win a title...but he ain't the perfect missing piece. He is not an elite shooting guard so "perfect" should not be an adjective to describe his game. Kevin Martin fits that description better than J.R. Smith.

I was using sarcasm when I said this is Dengs team....and I think Deng is the 2nd most important player on our roster whether you agree or not.
And I never said Pax refused to get any big players, but I did say his efforts have failed because he was unable to cinvince other teams to make significant deals with him...and he is definately not a bigtime wheeler and dealer, but not very creative......Cool the heck down...Good grief
I never said JR was perfect....and its only your opinion that JR smith is not the last missing piece to our currant roster...in my opinion he is.......You don't have to like it....And wtf do you mean that its Paxs fault that JR Smith is perfect...LoL....when the hell did I say that.....you funny but its all good bro.....I will only blame Paxson in the JR Smith catagory if he fails to get him in march and let's New York get him.....then I will blame him.....its my right as a us citizen.....

Why should I cool down? Because I disagree? And again you are wrong. Pax had a deal set up for Pau but Reinsdorf blocked it. Pax had a deal for Garnett on the table, but he didn't have the talent to match what Ainge offered...who was also McHale's buddy. And lets not get into the Kobe situation.

In what instances has Pax failed due to incompetence? He has drafted fairly well...he did everything in his power to acquire Lebron James...I have issues with Pax, but they are his thinking concerning players he drafted for the most part. He had too much faith in them, thought too highly of them and overpaid them. But the other stuff you talk about I don't agree with.

This is true. We tried for just about everyone. KG,Pau Gasol,Kobe,LBJ,Bosh,Wade. We've tried but it just hasn't happened. Cant blame him for that.

The Magic should really try trading for another good player to convince Howard to stay. They're quietly doing well right now at 10-3. Ryan Anderson has been playing very well, and Nelson/Richardson/others are still solid players. They should package a couple of them for some all star player and hope that would be good enough to keep dwight.
