If they were going to announce it, you would think it would have been done at the same time. Rondo will play.

KC Johnson is saying that they are only reviewing it to see if it was type 1 flagrant

In Rondo's case, since the foul call on the court would be change, the NBA could still be deliberating whether they should replay the end of Game 5, which imo, would be an absolutely coup for the Bulls.

As I said in the other thread, it's not completely without precedent since they replayed the Shaq game where they ruled he had fouled out when he only had 5. However, they upgrade fouls all the time, so I find it unlikely. There's at least a tiny bit of chance because it's only 2 seconds and there is a clear reason as to why it effected the game.

I'd put the odds at 1%.

IF they somehow decided to replay the end of game 5, when would that happen? Would it be in the UC or would the teams have to go back to Boston?

But what if we lose game 6, then do we fly up to Boston for potentially 2 seconds of basketball?

You'd have to replay it in Chicago if you were to replay it, or do so in an empty gym somewhere.

Even if the Bulls win game 6 you can't sell game 7 tickets and parking then if hte bulls hit the shot and game 7 is no longer necessary everyone has to go home and they issue refunds.

However, they won't replay it, as I said, 1% chance. The logistics are part of the reason why.

Actually, opposite is true. I have heard that they are definitely thinking about replaying the game for the final seconds and will upgrade it to a flagrant 1 foul.

I heard it on the other board (one of the mod said it).

I hope it's true and I hope they do replay it.

God I hope Dwight doesn't turn into KG. I was very dissapointed in him, I am not a huge fan but I know the kids love Dwight and look up to him. That was very unlike him. As for Stan Van Gundy he is getting on my nerves, he is a sensitive little guy.
