Hey guys since the board is a little slow I though I would ask you what shows are amongst your favorites. They could be on the air now or old shows. Though it would be fun (doug if this is not appropriate you can delete it).

Some shows I like:
Current: House, 2 and half men, Til Death, One Tree Hill, 90210 (for reasons many of you know), Everybody Hates Chris, Castle, Greys Anatomy, Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, Law and order SVU, Monk.

Shows no longer on the air: Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Family Matters (prior to Urkel), Home Improvement, Malcolm in the Middle, Yes Dear

There are more older shows but they will come to me once i remember them.

I'm not a big fan shows, but one my exceptions and by far my favorite is South Park. I can sit and watch that show all day. Its hilarious, and to me it is way better than the current cartoons like Family Guy, and American Dad.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I really only watched TV in the 90's lol. Fresh Prince, Simpsons, Family Matters, heck even Full House were shows I watched. Don't really watch TV anymore nowadays with all the school stuff I have to do. Do Bulls games count as a favorite TV show? lol

Shows I really enjoy presently:
Lost, House, The Office, Damages

I also watch 24 and Heroes. Heroes I don't think is really good, but I love the concept so I stick with it. 24 was phenomenal for about four seasons, but I think it's gone down hill since then. Though I'll admit season seven has been the best since season four.

I also watch the following shows occasionally because my wife likes them, but if I don't see htem, I don't really care:
Grey's Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, Desperate Housewives, all the reality cooking shows: Hell's Kitchen, next food network star, next iron chef, top chef, chopped, and chopping block..

Hmm, probably a couple other shows she watches, America's next top model, biggest loser, next design star, project runway, some hair cutting reality kick off show..

Many of those shows I only see once in awhile, a few I watch pretty regularly with her.

King of the Hill, South Park, Simpsons, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Boondocks.

Former Shows:

Greg the Bunny, Family Guy, Bugs Bunny, Flinstones, Jetsons, Scooby Doo, Arrested Development, Acceptable TV, Beavis and Butthead, Seinfeld.

Not really big on TV right now, and I see a lot of my favorite longer running shows in King of the Hill ending soon. Not sure how much longer the Simpsons will carry on, same with South Park. TV is really going to suck in a few years when those are gone.

At least there is a lot of good movies to watch.

Elisha Cuthbert will be coming back before seasons end to give it another extra boost. As for Brothers and Sisters and Desperate housewives I watch them as well but I didnt put them because of fear i would be laughed at, however if DT watches it i guess it ok  . Nichollette Sheridans husband on the show has been really good this season, i love his character.

Simpsons signed till 2012 however I doubt the last past that, I doubt Fox is still making good money off it with what payrole has now become. I am so upset that King of the Hill is being taken off, I came to love propane because of it  .

Of my wife's shows I find them all entertaining enough. I'm not a big fan of most of the reality based vote off shows. The lone exception is "So you think you can dance" which is a summer show. It's like Dancing with the stars except the people dancing are 10x as good.

Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, and Brothers and Sisters are all pretty well written though. I generally enjoy all of them when I see them (though I don't really mind if I miss them either).

Housewives and Brother and Sisters have the advantage of being on Sunday where I generally have nothing else to watch either.

Yea I always liked that about DH and Brothers and Sisters. Nothing else on so I just watch that. I really like Rob Lowe but that is one big dysfunctional family. I loved when Sally Fields eldest son told off his mother and she slapped him, good stuff.

I like dancing with the stars but i mostly watch the recap episode the next day so i can catch NBA instead of watching the regular show which is close to two hours. I find the host corney as hell.

Check out "So you think you can dance" this summer if you see it. It's way better than Dancing with the Stars.

Oh I also like cops. I never catch a new episode however when I see it on G4 or TruTV i tend to watch it. I just love when the cops always ask do you have anything in the car and the criminal always says no, only for the cop to find drugs, weapons, open container etc.

Anyone know if 'Mad Men' is any good?

I'm watching Season 5 of 24, and I must say each season is quite similar and the orginality of the show is practically gone, but I basically started from Season 1 only a few months ago, and it's like I can't stop until I finish Season 6.

If anyone likes smart, witty and creative show try 'Hustler'. It's a British show I stumbled across one day and the first 2 season are awesome. It's about a group of con-artists that try to pull off various jobs. The characters are well defined, the dialogue is always witty and well written, and the twist and turns is always fun to watch. Thick of it like a mini-series version of Oceans 11, but better. And each season only consists of 6 episodes so the stories don't drag on and on.

I've heard really good things from the same guy who told me to check out "Damages" which was awesome, so it's on my list. Probably won't get to it until summer though when everything else I watch stops putting out new episodes.

I respect the people that can watch TV shows on a week to week basis. I just can't do it, it's impossible for me to do it. I need to wait for a season to be over, and for me to just watch the entire season straight in about a week or so. I just don't have the patience at all to do it, or I'm just too eager to know what happens next.

I prefer to watch shows like you do, all at once, but after I get into a show I can't wait either.
