Wasn't he the same guy that traded away an entire draft class for Ricky Williams?

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Michigan Wolverines
  2. Purdue Boilermakers
The Bears are so bad, the only thing they have going for them is to think to themselves "hey, at least we are not Detroit", when in fact they are.

The Bears are a middling franchise, but they don't have generational talent outright retiring as to not play for them anymore. That's pretty fucking bad.

But we aren’t.....

But you are. In one months time, you will have had one playoff appearance in 10 years, while the Lions have had 3. Neither has a victory in that time frame. In that same time frame the Lions and Bears will have each one 10 games a piece against each other. That my friend is called parity.

Well, because they don't have generational talent, period. With the one lone exception of Payton, who owes much of his accolades to longevity.

But hey, at least you are in a "big market" albeit the murder capital of the US.

LMAO. They only have the most HoFers in NFL history, but sure.

LMAO, the only reason Detroit doesn't have as many murders is because everyone left.

Amazing this thread is arguing who is less of a trash team. The Bears have become the lions with their lack of success for decades. At least Lions ownership has the balls to fire staff mid season and get a head start on trying to fix their incompetence.

Actually the argument was more centered on which destination was more desirable for a new GM. But yes, I agree with everything you said.

I never discounted Tate. I was laughing that you had to use a kicker and a return specialist from 30 years ago as your creme de la creme.

LOl, and you failed to take into account that both Jones and Tate had higher production while costing less. So much for the "BigMarket" advantage.

Yet you go on to post about stats for FA players and something about Mike Ditka. You drifted away from original topic long ago.
