OT: Islanders to get a new arena?

The New York Islanders' lease on Nassau Coliseum expires in 2015 and according to many, the building is falling apart. A vote will be held on August 1 to try and build a new arena and prevent the Isles from leaving Long Island. Your thoughts?

Yeah, I don't see them going anywhere either.

I'm looking forward to the Winnipeg Jets reemergence though. The Atlanta Thrashers were the dumbest franchise in the history of sports, with the ugliest logo and uniforms I've ever seen.

They won't get it. New York sports MB I frequent doesn't think it passes.

Quebec City is building a new arena however, and a lot of the Islanders fans I talk to think thats where the Isles are headed.
