OT | Jabari Parker staying @ Duke another year?

I understand.

I didn't mean to say I didn't believe you- but highly touted prospects since the age of 16 like Jabari don't stay in school longer than they need to. Nor should they.

I don't disagree with that in the least.

Smart on his part if he decides to stay. He has been struggling with some things in his game since getting off to that hot start. If he goes straight to the NBA, those struggles will not just disappear. They will be worse, and to add to it, he'll be put on a shitty team...not good for a basketball players mentality. Could derail his entire career.

I should clarify my comments -- as much as my Duke fandom leads me to LOVE the idea of Jabari another year, and I can see it happening, I don't think it will happen. I'm not going to put a % on it, but at this point I'd say it's likely he goes to the NBA. I just posted a talking point about a player most of this board would love to nab in the draft.
