another good player from those dominant Wings teams gone...he was a good player, but cant say im not happy seeing Detroit losing good players

Definitely. I respect him and his career as he was a great player, but happy to see he won't be in a Wings sweater this fall.

You know at the end of every year I looked at his stats and thought, "really, that's all he scored?"

Even so, despite the fact that he never really put up huge numbers, he just scared the shit out of me.

I'm glad he's gone and that I won't have to look down their lines and go "oh ****, and DRAPER TOO" anymore.

I may be odd, but I don't have any strong feelings (good or bad) about Kris Draper.

Fine player that was on some really good teams. Anyone who gets to play in the NHL til 40 and go out on their terms is a winner in my book.
