Ownership and management have been strong advocates of Scalabrine and his performance on the job, sources told Yahoo Sports. Nevertheless, Warriors officials decided that as long as Jackson is the head coach, he'll have control of his coaching staff.

Damn, Mark Jackson simply can't get along with anyone as a coach.

Not to be ruled out that Jackson sees that management likes Scalabrine and he's looking down the road to when he's in danger of being fired he doesn't want a potential instant replacement to be getting experience, becoming a player favorite sitting five feet away from him.

Jackson knows tho team has underperformed a bit and feels the heat. If they get bounced in the first round, his job is probably in jeopardy for next year. Well... That or he's just petrified of Scal.

they offered him a job and he said no
Yeah, he wanted to be in TV...That lasted a whole year. Now he's back to coaching, they could offer him again (From my knowledge they didn't offer him last offseason).
