The Redskins sign McNabb to a 5 year/78M extension (that could be worth 88M with incentives). So, there goes all the chatter for a Cutler/McNabb trade. At least that's over.

Also, I'm kinda confuse because that's a lot of money to a QB who got benched 2 weeks ago.

Thoughts?

To me it makes no sense whatsoever

almost had the impression that they didnt like McNabb as much as they thought they would, maybe it's just me tho.

I didnt know if they would keep him or not but the timing of it is more weird than anything especially since he got benched last week. Next person I'm curious to see if he'll get an extension is Michael Vick.

And btw...Vick increasingly looks like hes going to be a huge problem for us.

Not his fault, really. His int on the reciever. 3rd and 8th, drop pass. DEFENSE SUCKS!

I wouldn't worry. The Bears have the WR core and they will have an eye on Vick all game.
