Yeah, McVay sounds like the asshole here. Goff just isn't a guy that responded to that type of mentor.
As for starting Worfrord part of the thing...I really think its up to the player, Goff, in that case to demand to play and declare themselves healthy, and a good coach would maybe consider listening to them, but he got as far as he could into the game with Worford, which I thought was clever. He didn't hesitate in the slightest to turn to Goff when it was clear that was their only chance to win.
(Wofford was many levels worse than Trubisky)
Mitch would have run OB for a loss... and it would be better, LOL.This play probably completely ended Goff in McVay’s eyes...

I think it was because of his thumb....he was trying(?) to hit #17 and the ball lifted on him. My best guess.Who the **** was he throwing at?
Goff is basically the younger version of Andy Dalton. Both looked great behind dominant offensive lines and playmakers around them. But once things start evening out on the field, they go straight into the tank.
Adi, I enjoy your posts and believe you’re one of the better contributors here. However, that is utter bullshit. Andy Dalton played at TCU. Compared to his competition, they were always undermanned. He took them to the Fiesta Bowl and the Rose Bowl in back to back seasons. The Wisconsin team he beat in the Rose Bowl featured JJ Watt and was considerably more talented.
In the NFL, he took the Bengals to the playoffs five times. We’re talking the Bengals. I know he played poorly in the playoffs but was there ever a year when you thought the Bengals were loaded and Dalton was dragging them down?
He’s not a great QB but he’s good and he’s a leader and an excellent human being. Goff quite frankly is just dumb. He didn’t even know that the sun rises in the East. I’m not sure how the Rams allowed HBO to show that clip!
He’s here as a bridge. I hope he does well while he’s a Bear.
