Looks like we will have some changes soon.

The Sacramento Kings are more than likely moving to Anaheim. The NBA just granted them an extension until April 18 to apply for relocation.
The New Jersey Nets will move to Brooklyn. Current Working Title is the Brooklyn Nets, but the New York Nets or a new name are also under consideration. They are expected to move for the 2012-2013 season.

For Baseball, the Florida Marlins will be the Miami Marlins for the 2012 season.

I've heard Winnipeg, Las Vegas, and Kansas City as potential destinations.

Atlanta, Florida, and Tampa Bay may end up relocating at some point in the near future as well.

Whoo, Anaheim. I spent a month there one day. I would rather snowboard butt naked down Mt. Everest than go there ever again (NOT a good experience).

If Seattle builds the arena, I think Seattle should be the NBA's first destination.

Anaheim? Come on.

Las Vegas could support a team as well.

If las vegas had a really really good team, i think they could support a team. If they were ridiculously talented, like the lakers, i could see tourists stopping by 'x' arena for a basketball game.

On the other hand, imagine a mediocre basketball team like last years bobcats.I guarantee you that tourists aren't going to see a crappy las vegas basketball team. do you think the local populace really wants to go see a mediocre team like last years charlotte bobcats play basketball?

Seattle at least deserves a team after how bad that finished with the moved to OKC. That small documentary that was done by a major sports network (forget whether it was ESPN or FSN) in 2008 was interesting. Those fans in Seattle are still pissed to this day about it.

I agree though, Seattle (again) and/or Las Vegas would be cool.

The NBA should implement a 5 year plan...where, if your team shows losses in 4 of 5 years due to lack of attendance/competitiveness, they're subject to relocation/contraction.
