Yes he is or if they sign/trade for a closer. If they sign Madson, either one could be the closer. It would all depend.

I just think they became weaker. Jonathan isn't that good IMO and they wasted a lot of cash

Going from Madson to Papelbon is an upgrade, but I don't know if it is the level of upgrade that many think given the names of the guys involved. But the pitching is scary good still. 60 million for a closer though is ridiculous.
