According to Ken Rosenthal's Twitter:

#Cardinals' Pujols out 4 to 6 weeks with small fracture in wrist. #MLB

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  2. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Chicago State Cougars
  2. DePaul Blue Demons
  3. Illinois-Chicago Flames
  4. Loyola Ramblers
  5. Northern Illinois Huskies
  6. Northwestern Wildcats
Yes! Now we will definitely make the playoffs.

I hope he gets better soon since we aren't in it. The longer he's out, the lesser the value of potential contracts from other teams to lure him out of St. Louis.

Ouch. Honestly I think this is a big deal. I mean look at what happened to Derrek Lee.

Thats exactly what my thoughts went to yesterday.. Honestly as of now if I were a Cardinal fan.. I would be pretty worried.

The wrist is something you don't screw with.

Big news for the Cubs because this just continues to drive up the value of the guy I want next year.

I never thought I would be saying this, but I am really hoping for a quick recovery by Pujols. My main hope that the Cubs could land Fielder had a lot to do with both Fielder and Pujols being on the market at the same time. If Pujols comes back in a month and goes through a DLee like loss of power then I am really worried that we will be the team to overpay him next year.
