I remember trying to get some of his rookie cards, and then hating on him unnecessarily because of the nickname. The more I watched him, and time went by, I learned about how much he was a class act, and I appreciate him now. The Miami Heat really screwed him up by not developing him, and cutting ties with the guy too soon. Hype sometimes gets the best of everyone, and that's a nature of the beast. I'm glad to see he is doing well now!

94 and 95... I thought so. Brent Barry won in 96... that's all I know for sure. Shawn Kemp came in 2nd or 3rd place like 6 times...

93 and 95. 94 was Isaiah Rider.

Those were some excellent dunk contests too.

Oh yeaaahh... that's right. I think for a while, MJ was the only guy to win back-to-back dunk contests. Then came along J-Rich and the overrated Nate Robinson... :smh:

nate rob wins because we're all astonished a guy whose 5'7 can dunk. plus the dunk contests have been lame recently. they should change the rules so you dont have unlimited dunk attempts.
