This is pretty entertaining, and there are some Bears references in there referring to Payton's last game. Kind of amazing to think of a receiver with a 24.7 YPC average over the season (Anthony Carter's average for 1987). I remember Ditka being quoted as saying that Minnesota would beat the 49ers, and Bill Walsh being taken aback that he would say that.
