Sean Avery was arrested Friday morning after allegedly shoving a police officer.

Avery is being charged with battery on a police officer. The officer arrived at Avery's Hollywood home around 1am in response to a loud party. Rangers' coach John Tortorella frequently scratched Avery late in the regular season and during the playoffs due to his lack of on-ice discipline. This also isn't the first time he's been part of an off-ice controversy. We'll keep you posted.

I've wanted to shove cops that show up for bullshit noise complaints too.
