You do know that they link everything on the wiretap to it's original article, right? The Harris one is straight from Tillery at the Memphis Commercial Appeal (I don't even like hearing Tillery's name as it brings up terrible memories from all of the Gasol discussion he reported back in the day haha).

Didnt know that. If Harris was in this draft he would be discussed as a top 2 pick, maybe even the #1.

Things get placed out there by teams intentionally. Chances are this "source" is from Memphis, and is trying to drive up the pick's value by associating Devin Harris' name with it.

Edit: Same thing with the Amare for Jefferson/6 trade rumor. It was probably someone from Phoenix reporting that they were in "discussions" in an attempt to "prove" to the league what value Amare really has, and then they even took it further by saying Phoenix turned it down like it wasn't enough value coming back. They are likely just trying to falsly raise the value of their own players.
