I'm going with Uconn and UNC. Should make for a great finals as well. Any differing opinions?

Not from me. I also think Uconn and North Carolina are going to the Finals. But who wins that one, I simply don't know. They're very evenly matched as far as I'm concerned.

I think UNC, not that I study college basketball enough to do more than just be taking more or less a blind guess.

Tyler Hansbrough is coming off one of his worst games of the season and could potentially be denied his penetration game by Thabeet. So I expect the UNC back-court to really step up and win this for them. But they still need Hansbrough's aggresiveness. Just force it inside every time down the floor in the early stages, and hope Thabeet rotates and you catch him on a foul. That's the only attempt you can make for Hansbrough to establish an inside game. You just know Thabeet will cover him plenty, so if you can remove that aspect, it'll go a long way for UNC.

Well no longer looks like UNC (assuming they win) will have to deal with Thabeet anymore.

Very surprised that Michigan St pulled off the upset. I thought they were one of those overrated teams going into the tourney.

I'm torn - is it better to root for MSU since they knocked my team (KU) out, and it sounds better to have lost to the eventual champs? Or do I go ahead and root against them out of bitterness?

Then throw in the fact that it's KU's old friend Roy coaching the other team....

Not that sad to see UConn go personally, but I guess Ben should get a prize for being the last guy in the locker room with a horse still in the race, huh?

aw, i wanted uconn to win it all, especially since thabeet has made it this far, it looks like his draft stock won't fall so far that he's into our draft range ;)

Illinois will be back in the Final Four in a few years. Weber is starting to get some good recruits.

As some of you are aware, there is the ability to like or dislike a person's post by clicking on the +/- button on the bottom right corner of their post. This affects the overall "reputation" of that said poster.

I can set levels the same way I set posting levels/pips.

If you have ideas on what each level should be (currently, they are default-- good, neutral, bad), let me know.

I'd like to have current levels at:

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
FrankG, Moron Fan, and LadyHawke should be in there somewhere.

Bah - this is one of those annoying message board items no one cares about except one person I know of here. You have my approval to set my reputation to -100,000. Then I don't have to hear crap about padding my own count.
