Bill Russell played in an era with no where near the talent that we have in today's game. Do you really think Bill Russell would be going around dribbling the ball and passing like he's Magic against this era's NBA?

They are basically the same player, limited offensively but great defenders and rebounders  Are you telling me that Russell's ball handling and court vision would be relevant against today's athletes in the NBA?

The problem with the bolded statements are that today's players have a much different training regimen and have grown up in a league that has evolved from the time Russell played. So one would have to also assume that if Russell played in today's game he would have had the same training and coaching that these great players today have, which would level the playing field. I think if you give the players like Russell the advantages the players have today, he probably would have been just as dominant if not more.

If the answer isn't LeBron James, you're doing it wrong.

Anthony Davis last game before he turns 21.

32 points, 17 rebounds, 3 Ast, 6 blocks. 10 for 20 from the field. Anthony Davis is a grown ass man!

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) -
Former Virginia Union University and NBA star Ben Wallace pleaded no contest in court Tuesday to failing to leave the scene of an accident in Henrico last month.

Wallace's Cadillac Escalade smashed through a fence and hit a tree early February 8 near Gaskins Road at Peppertree Drive. When officers arrived, the vehicle was empty. An investigation led detectives to Wallace who was charged Tuesday and entered his guilty plea.

Wallace was sentenced to a year in prison, with all but two days suspended, according to online court records. He was also ordered to pay $611 in court fines and costs.

He was booked into the Henrico West jail Tuesday afternoon according to online records and is expected to be released Wednesday.

I'll just throw it out there -- Anthony Davis will be considered the 3rd best player in the NBA, behind LeBron and Durant, by the end of next year. He's absolutely ridiculous. I just hope to God he's able to keep the injury bug at bay. It'd be a shame if he gets nicked up every year and ends up only playing between 60 and 70 games. That'd be criminal for NBA fans.

IF he keeps getting stronger, I think he will be just fine. He added good muscle mass last off season and he should continue to grow being that he just turned 21. But, the guy is ridiculous. He has far exceeded my expectations of him this year and I would think most of the country's. HE says he loves New Orleans so hopefully we can keep him here because he is a franchise changer.
