I think Stan Van Gundy has lost Howard time and time again in his time as Magic coach. I think Howard will be traded after the break.

It would require an act of god to bring Howard to the Bulls. He has said so himself.

Gut the Bulls to bring Howard over. Hey, it worked for the Knicks and Melo isn't as valuable as Howard.... oh wait, it was Lin that worked for the Knicks. Good thing our bench doesn't win us many games anyways, right... Oh, wait.

Last time I saw him Melo wasn't a beast in the paint.I love all of the Bulls players.I love their energy and how they fight in the court. They are dying in the court for their MVP.Real soldiers.I believe that we will win the championship this year as we are.But Rose&Howard would be the hottest thing in the NBA for the next 8 years.

LMAO Shaq said that the Magic should tell Howard that they will bring there whoever he wants next year.If you put a guy like Durant or Rose with him then he would be very dangerous there.:D

WTF is Shaq smoking?

Shaq always talkin´ dumb things (like Rondo is the best PG in the NBA)! He really gets outshined by Barkley every time!

I'd take Howard on the Bulls easily. I'm curious to know what the trade would be though but if it ships Boozer, I'm all in.

Nets or Lakers.

If I was the GM of the Magic I would take Brooks and Lopez along with the 5 first rd picks the Nets can trade for Howard.

Lakers I wouldnt even consider same with the Bulls they dont have the assets.

But Otis Smith is a moron and if he did his job Dwight would like of not ask for a trade.

Dwight isnt giving up money by waiting IMO He is a max guy so he dint giving up $$ I would trade him he isnt balking.

New York isn't completely out of the picture yet but I doubt NY is willing to part with 2 out of 3 of Tyson Chandler, Amare Stoudemire, and Carmelo Anthony.

New Jersey has Brook Lopez and picks but I honestly am starting to feel like Orlando is not going to even care to make that trade and would maybe rather just inherit the cap-space as opposed to making that trade with NJN. ORL still feels that Dwight Howard might come back there anyway against all logic.

The Lakers have the best trade assets and I feel like LAL wants to unload Gasol and Bynum for Howard, a legitimate starting PG, and a decent SF. Especially after signing Rasheed Wallace.

The Bulls could make a push but they would need to give up Luol Deng without much question. The team, right or wrong, will not be willing to do that.

If I had to guess what will happen with Dwight, I'd predict that ORL stupidly holds onto him for the rest of the season and pray that they can do some serious damage in the playoffs and convince him to stay. Then, he is either going to sign with New Jersey or Dallas. The Clippers might have enough cap-space but they aren't going to beat out NJ or DAL for him.

If I am the Knicks I do whatever to get Dwight. He is a guy who doesnt need the ball and would fit well with Lin and Amare.

Amare is basically untradable with his contract being uninsurable. But If I had to trade Melo and Chandler as a GM I would do that in a heartbeat.

Dwight is the 2nd best player in the game. Also instantly makes your team a top defensive team. Basically trade whatever is needed for him he is that good. He is no Melo who can hurt his team at times he is a monster.

^^ nuff said.

If I were the Knicks GM I would trade my whole team except Lin and Melo for Howard. And if they wanted Melo I would keep Lin and Amare. Not even thinking about the rest.

The Nets had the most possibilities in this trade.BUT THEY are not making the playoffs this year. Will he be traded in a team that won't compete this year for the title? Not possible.
The Lakers were second choice but if a trade for Howard ships Bynum and Gasol then they won't have a good supporting cast to win the championship AND Kobe is getting old.It would be Howard in the same situation after 2 years.
The Mavs are still #1 but they only can sign him as a FA.

So...The Bulls will be the best destination for Howard when the deadline is near. And it would be the best offer for the Magic too..Maybe NYK can land him. They have the cards too.But Thibs over DAntony would be a much better choice for Howard if he chooses basketball and not movies.

If he is gonna be traded now I will go with the Bulls or NYK.If he is gonna sign somewhere as a FA next year I will go with the Mavs.

Noah, Deng, Boozer, Gibson, Asik, Charlotte pick, Mirotic, for Howard and Hedo.

Yep, looks like a fiar deal

The Bulls are ALREADY a top defensive team without him and a top offensive team. So why do We need to gut what's working?

We don't need Howard, you guys just want him.

Why wouldn't you want two top 5 players on your team?

There's no way the trade for Boozer, Deng and Noah for Howard and Hedo would work.

As much as we get on Boozer, he's still a solid offensive player. And we'll still have Ronnie, Kyle, and Jimmy Butler.

If I had the choice between 2 top 5 players and the Bulls current roster, I'd roll the dice and see if the Bulls can do it with Howard.

Nah.

Noah,Gibson and CJ Watson +picks (Best for us)
or
Noah,Deng +picks (best for them)
or
Noah,Boozer +picks (something in the middle)

would be fine packages.

It's not my team to play with, and I'll still cheer the Bulls to win with or without Howard.

I want this roster as-is to do it, but I don't think they can. They'll never quit fighting to win, and I hope that's enough.

Assuming we ship out Noah (lesser rebounder, defender, and offensive player than Howard), that would be a HUGE upgrade as the Bulls' starting C.

And if the Bulls somehow managed to keep Deng, the Bulls' defense would be even better than it already was.

Rose
anybody
Deng
anybody
Howard

= title contenders
