That was the absolute worst hire possible for that team. He never even wanted the be there, had no control over his players. Just a bad hire.

He only came there to coach Arenas, Butler, and Jamison. He said when he came to Washington that he only came because they had a playoff caliber team at the time and that he wanted no part of a rebuilding team. I'm surprised he stayed this long after they were all traded away.

flip is not a good coach bottom line
even in detroit when he was handed a team he was bad(i think they won the chip under him but im not sure & if they did it was the player leadership from billups & rip not flips weak ass coaching he couldnt lead a jv team to a title)

Randy Wittman is a terrible head coach at least with the Wolves he was they should of hired someone else

Yeah this never made sense from the beginning. Flip is one of the last coaches I'd want leading my team, and especially with their developing players. Good for the Wiz, but the guy they replaced him with is another question mark himself.

Should've happened before the season. The Wiz are a train wreck. I honestly feel bad for Wall. His growth is being severely stunted by having to play on that sorry excuse for a team.
