The New York media's sense of entitlement over LeBron can only be described as staggeringly imbecilic. That team has no built in growth and if they do trade for Melo, they'll likely be even more "stars and scrubs" than Miami has been and again will have no real area for improvement and a lower ceiling. LeBron, as much of an unlikable character as he is, is too smart to fall into a trap situation like the Knicks. Of all the cities involved in the LeBron sweepstakes, they have the least to complain about. They didn't create an appealing situation for him to come into and they never had a reason to expect him to come in the first place.

Thoughts, discussion, etc?

Agree. They were all about the city of new York and not about basketball. But it's all irrelevant because Lebrons plan was to go to Miami. It was for all 3 of them the whole time. Chi, Cle, NY, NJ, Tor, etc were never options.
