Outlook/Exchange question

All my computer equipment at home is Apple, but I do have a shitty Toshiba laptop for work. We have Outlook on an Exchange server. Their calendar function allows me to check other people's calendars, then schudule group meetings. If I put a Macbook on the exchange server and have the Outlook client will I be able to view their calenders? I have heard there are calender issues using apple products on Microsoft networks even with Outlook
