Paintball June 11th Cpx Sports

June 11th we have a group event at CPX Sports in Joliet for my best friends bachelor party. We have the minimum number of players for a group (10) plus a few but we'd like to get as many as possible. The more the merrier for paintball so if you're interested hit me up asap.

It's $55 to play. That includes 500 paintballs, equipment and having a private ref. It goes up to $65 after June 4th so let me know if you're interested before then. You also have to by extra paint there and you will likely need much more than 500 paintballs.

on july 4th gun rental is free, you can play for 20 bucks(paint balls), at least the last time i played which was 2008.



But if you arent trigger happy you wont even spend those balls, so 50 sumthin bucks isnt bad for a whole day, in my opinion its more fun than dropping that cash at great america. My mom lives just a few miles from challenge park

Yeah it has an ass load of courses, but usually only a few are open at a time. the "armageddon" course sucks because its painful,im surprised no one has been seriously injured on that one. its a mess of cinder blocks and twisted metal.

Awesome, I love that place but have not been there in about 10 years.....hmmm might be interested in this, I need to check my sailing schedule.

Why would you freeze them?

I've been tagged at pretty close range right in the side and that left a bruise that was there for a good 2 months. Usually though it's not too bad.

Some guys I went to school with froze their paintballs all the time to make them hurt more. They were all Ag majors and crazy as hell. They even shot each other in their apartments. I've seen the bruises.

JR was one of them. He didn't keep Babe in the apartment. He kept her in the animal barn at the college.

That makes sense. Moving in together is a big step in a relationship.

Sorry Frank. Just played there on May 7th. Will have our next outting there in Oct. Play at CPX twice a year. As for Armageddon...it's suppose to be that way. A blown up city with rubble and debris. You have 4 sniper towers to shoot from in that field. The Town of Bedlam field only has one 2nd floor location at the post office in the north East corner of the field. Put a Marine Sniper up their on May 7th and he was having a field day!



Fort Courage is also a great spot. Someone mentioned the plane wreck..yep, that is in El Centro.



CPX has about 20 fields and I only play private games there since those open games only have yahoo's who haven't a clue as to what they are doing.



If i remember, I will send you a note about the game when we have a date picked.

Man would I love to play, I've only played at a real place twice and that was long ago, I fear I would only suck and hurt myself, and I don't have enough motivation justify paying for the right to receive welts on 80% of my body. It's a great time, but it only takes that one guy who is entirely too into it to ruin it for everyone.

I think you've summed up why I've never done this... that and the whole "running around" and activity part of it.

it's funny, have my marker gun and facemask, along with about 3/4 of a box of paint balls down in the garage right now. Unfortunately, wont be anywhere near the Chitown area on that date.

This is why you only play private games. Since everyone knows each other and is not out to kill someone. It's suppose to be fun. First game at Bedlam...I heard the non active marine had someone in a building at close quarters. He yelled surrender 3 times, loud enough for me to hear it across the field. Then I heard him fire off...found out the girl and guy he had in one of the buildings weren't going to quit. The Army reserve officer and girl didn't have a chance.



But, they were given the option...you won't get that in an open game.



God mode is where you'll get all the welts...I don't play that game.

What kind of Marker do you have?



I have a Tippman Custom pro as well as a A5. The Piranha I have is from when I first started in the 90's and I purchased another tournament tagger after that.
