Barry Petchesky — Patrick Kane missed Blackhawks practice Monday and Tuesday with "flulike symptoms." The team wouldn't elaborate, but flulike symptoms might consists of nausea, vomiting, chills, aches, weakness, diarrhea. What else could cause those? Maybe, just maybe, closing down a Chicago bar Sunday night.

We had heard whispers earlier in the week that Kaner's absence from practice might have had a more mischievous, alcoholic origin. And sure enough, photos emerge of Kane at a bar, wearing a Yankees cap and posing with women. The reader who sent them to us (and posted them on his own blog) says they were taken late Sunday, after the Blackhawks returned from Phoenix.



At this point someone just needs to start a "Drunk Patrick Kane Next To Women" Tumblr. Lord knows there are enough photos out there.

Probably the wrong kind of press the Hawks PR wants right now...

Yeah, that's what I got out of it. And unless there is a way to verify the date of those pictures i'll still give him the benefit of the doubt. I don't care if he's out partying and being a man whore, but if it distracts from the team, or causes him to miss practice (PRACTICE, we talking bout practice) then it's a problem. Luckily it's not our problem. It's the kind of problem a team irons out on it's own. Starting with the big guy.

I have lots of pictures of Kane at bars. I have 100% proof he had the flu, just as Scott, Stahlberg, Dowell and HOSSA has it before him



I wonder if the team kept Hossa in Edmonton two days, missing a game, and he didn't have the flu?

Nothing I said was directed toward you negatively so I don't care what you post. I'd be interested in seeing the photos as well. The first one on deadspin if you look at the sportscenter clip The story that was running was about stadiums covered in snow. As a matter of fact I think I remember it right around the time of the big storms out east. While not proof obviously I would tend to think it was more than sunday ago.



It was more interesting to me that PuckDaddy himself said, there were rumors, then poof magically photos came about.... And I had not heard the rumors but whatever. I'm not trying to have my Hawk blinders on, I already stated how I feel. But like I said, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Speaking of hate, you're getting a little testy... It's thread worthy now, just like it was the last time (2 times with the limo) it happens. To think of the threads that have been started here it's pretty pointless to question any of them that get started at this point.

IF he was out DRINKING when HE CLAIMED he was sick THE REAL question is what was his BEVERAGE of choice that night? MAYBE, if the HAWKS can find out, they can TRADE PATTICAKES to a team that has that kind of ALCOHOL on hand so they CAN get a decent RETURN on him, since he IS declining in PRODUCTION where as a GUY like KYLE TURRIS is only going to GET BETTER.
