Great news. Reason 670 dominated the air waves back in the day (North and Jiggetts were my favs) was cause they were one of the first 24/7 sports talk shows. Now I understand trying to "unite old flames" is great and all but there are just much more competition these days but good on them!

I didn’t listen for great insight. I was painting walls and only had this old radio, he was ridiculous but got me thru the shift. So for that I will always be grateful.

The "every man" approach has never been one that has taken hold of me. I don't want to listen to the "every man." I'd like to listen to shit that isn't ridiculous, and that's all North really was. Nevermind that he probably lived in an $800k house in Des Plaines. Once you hear/read about that shit, your schtick really goes away.

Just my opinion of course. I don't begrudge you for needing something to get through the day.

North definitely didn't have the best of radio voices. He had that screechy schill voice at times but when paired with Jiggetts, it was comedy gold. Especially after a brutal chicago sports team loss...

i called into Who You Crappin once and got through and i was absolutely shitfaced, i couldn't believe i got on, slurred something about Andre Rison and Boers made fun of me.....Mike North confronting Isaiah Thomas about the walkoff was outstanding shit though and it's always great to hear from Grandpa Munster.... that station ruled for a while
