Ok we got our butts whooped, but it's all good. The Packers lost so we haven't lost any ground in our division. I really don't know what happend Sunday, but there is an old saying, "Any given Sunday"! Sh*t happens! The Patriots are a good team but they're an AFC Team, The important game is this coming Sunday against The Vikings. The Bears can clinch the divison with a win. Our defense allowed 3 TD's against the Patriots but that is what they've been doing all season. Our offensive line needs to step up and give Cutler some protection Sunday and also open some holes for the Running backs. We need to control the clock and don't turn the ball over. To many stupid penalties have been hurting the Bears as well. It isn't going to be an easy win against The Vikings but I believe we can do it!! Are the Bears Superbowl contenders? Honestly I have to say no, we're about a year and a couple of good offensive linemen away from that. But winning the division and making a playoff appearance is a step in the right direction and another block to build on for our ultimate goal. Enjoy the rest of the season and be patient...we will be there again soon!! GO BEARS!!

I guess as Bears fans we should be trained by now to feel like the Super Bowl is not important and is more like the Pro-Bowl. Go Bears! Clinch the division. They'll be Mid-West Champions!!! I want a T-shirt.

What on earth does this mean? How was this game not important? Seriously. We got our ass kicked, but to say it's not important, is like the Office Without Michael Scott.
This game was important because...

A.) A chance to go 2 games up on the Packers.
Green Bay lost in the earlier slate of games. The Bears knew this, and couldn't take advantage of it. I'd feel much more comfortable with a 2 game lead, and a magic Number at 1, rather than a 1 game lead.

B.) A chance for us to prove we can handle the NFL's best
All year the players have talked about respect and how they don't get any. Well they obviously didn't get the memo that the game time was changed to 3:15 cst. We were embarressed out there. The defense looked like the 6 year old brother chasing the 16 year old brother and his friends around. It was a disgrace. This was one of the biggest games of the year, and we came out flat.
Now after this performance, who do we scare? What team is scared of the crappy "Bear Weather?"

Please don't say this game wasn't important.

It was impartant in those ways Zack, but it does not determine that the Bears are a bad team.

We are a pretty good NFC team. We aren't on the Patriots, or Steelers level yet.

I agree, but I know people are going to say the Bears are a fluke and not a good team. That's why I'm kinda saying, the snow was the cause (no excuse), but the Bears were not ready and if the conditions were good, I think the Bears could have won. Now watch the Bears kick the Vikings's ass on Monday and the Bears march into the playoffs.

I don't understand how somebody can even try to trash talk a team that beat the goose piss out of you. You don't see me spouting off at Patriots fans, you should consider the same lol

the patriots are playing as good as I can ever remember seeing them, if not better, back then he was a clutch prime-time QB, but now he's just unstoppable it seems. But again the media is twisting shit up, look at how the Bears get 0 credit all season when the Jets i.e were projected by most analysts as one of the most complete team in the AFC and look what happened..

Nevertheless, I hope that they go out strong vs the vikes, we have to take advantage of the fact that the packers are likely to lose to the patriots, and they'll need to get in Brett Favre's face , from what i've read his health is pretty shaky.

We had a chance to show people what we're made of & the Pats laid a winter storm massacre on us.

we will see.....
edit oops i forgot you boys play farve you might be right

Also the Bears have the Jets at home...Mark Sanchez is god awful in cold weather..any bad weather really (rain, wind, snow, earthquakes..you name it). Sanchez is a California boy and cant get through the elements. If the weather is cold (which is likely) it favors the Bears in a big way.
