Staff report

Bears fans looking to enjoy a blast of past Super Bowl glory should be sure to check out the New England Patriots' throwback jerseys this season.

As the Boston Globe reports, the Patriots have replaced their silver alternate jerseys with the style worn during the 1985 season (and during the team's 46-10 Super Bowl XX loss to the Bears).

The Patriots' official Twitter feed says the team will wear the alternate jerseys for the Halloween game against the Minnesota Vikings. They also will wear them for one road game, possibly their nationally televised Thanksgiving game at Detroit.

They look kinda like the old Houston Oilers uniforms. Hopefully the Bears can put the same beating on them like they did in Super Bowl XX

They wore them several times last year - it's a great look for them.

I love the old Pats logo.

I also love remembering the 36 pt. beatdown the Bears gave them that day, so bring 'em on!
