See what I did wrong there?

My laptop keeps doing that lately...

No, I said "on the mound when Castro/Rizzo/Jackson are lighting it up" LOL, meant on the team.

I'm sure he knows what you mean. Any response as to what he's paid? I'm surprised the team allowed him to Tweet about it before an official release, but maybe that was pre-planned.

Nope, didn't respond to me, just saw this response to somebody else though:

Going hard there Paul...

Maholm clarified that the no was accidentally put there...

"@Chitown893 sorry meant to say thank u"

I was thinking like damn Paul, that's rude before he clarified lol.

He has a pretty good ERA close to Garza's last year. So I doubt he wins more than 8 games. The run support is gonna be bad but he is better than what we had last year. I like our rotation a lot better this year already wont amount to many wins this year though lol.

no more Colman, Russel and Lopez and Doug Davis and what not is a major improvement on my eyes.

I think you assume the front office is trying to improve the defense and get more ground ball type pitchers, so run prevention will help the pitching staff out some. We'll see what happens. The Cubs will probably still suck but at least they'll look less like Little Leaguers

lol - I watched a lot of games last year and just laughed. We looked like the bad version of the bad news bears too often.

Best thing about this off-season other than the Rizzo trade.

Someone said Gordon Wittenmeyer tweeted that the Cubs also plan to bring back Rodrigo Lopez. He'd probably be a league-minimum or barely more signing.
