This shit is just like casey anthony, the more im reading, the more I see there is not enough evidence to convict. Dude will get off scott free. Again, I think hes guilty as sin, but, I don't think they have the evidence.

The judge is helping him, imho. He has already decided this is a charade with way too much circumstantial evidence so he is just showing up to work and hoping it will end soon.

The State is purposely throwing the case. The jury is sympathetic to Drew, and they are more then likely tired of the State "accidentally" making mistakes. They are throwing it so they can get a new trial, a new jury, and, more importantly, force Drew into getting new lawyers. The guys he has now are working pro bono, and have said if there is another trail, they wouldn't be able to afford to defend him. Then it is public defender, and an almost guaranteed conviction.

Where do you get the impression that the jury is sympathetic to Drew. From where I sit, we have no idea what the jury is thinking. They are more likely getting tired of Burmila sending them out of the room all the time. The dipshit defense team made some bullshit, straight out of a lifetime movie, court room joke about a statement made by a witness from the prosecution. The courtroom gally guffawed very loudly, Burmila sends the jury out, then chastises the gally for making sounds that might influence the jury. Hey Mr Judgy-pants, how about you yell at the defense team for not taking things seriously and trying to influence the jury with dumbass 'jokes'.

I don't know the jury is sympathetic to Drew. But all the bullshit that is happening, the constant removing of the jury, the State's "mistakes", all would just make me tired and with the missteps of the State and, with the info that has been reported on the news, they haven't proved jack shit. Just like the Casey Anthony case, Florida didn't prove shit, and Illinois isn't either.

You have to think at this point, if another wife "disappears". No one is that unlucky. At that point the disappearances themselves are proof of his guilt. 2 unfortunate wife accidents, eh maybe, but 3? These women want 15 minutes of fame, and they are banking on the fact peterson knows he can't get away with it again.

He had a new girlfriend for about a month not long after Stacy went missing. Her family intervened and got her away from him.
