I like the signing. Great insurance policy for next season in case the draft doesn't fall our way. It also may mean that Lazor is more in control. Last year they got Nagy's guy (Foles) and this year they get Lazor's guy (Dalton).

Bears are now in a position where they aren't FORCED to draft a QB, but can if the draft falls.

I guess the Watson and Wilson dreamers are enraged but I think most people with a brain knew that those franchises were not trading their QBs away.

Even if Lazor does get the nod to take control, Nagy will find a way to step in and f*ck it up. If the Seahawks had no desire to trade Wilson then Schneider would have never had a private meeting with Pace. A simple no over the phone would have been enough.

Both QBs have an 87 career rating.

Both will do worse than their career average under Nagy. There seems to be a pattern forming.

There can't be a pattern forming from things that are to be determined in the future, buddy.

I don't mind the bridge signing, but I disagree Dalton is an upgrade. Dalton had a higher sack percentage, lower yards per attempt, and lower TD efficiency than Mitch last season. But I don't want to see Mitch throw a ball in a Bears uniform again so I'll take the "upgrade". Both QBs need a fresh start.

This Dalton signing only works if Pace moves up in the draft to take Mac Jones at 10-12. If Pace tries to move up to #3, he's going to get fleeced worse than the SF / Mitch debacle.

Watson will be traded. Just not to the Bears.

He will not survive long with Charles Leno Jr. protecting his blind side.

Its still hard for me to understand the move. Just listen to Nagy most recent press conference where he talked glowing about Trubisky and how he and the offense were starting to find an identity.

Now we get a guy Dalton who hasn't looked good for multiple seasons. I get he didn't have a good Oline in in Dallas, but so did Foles here last season. Yet Dalton had Zeke at RB and probably the best receiving Corp in the league.

We already saw how an immobile experienced QB ran the offense last year. Why throw another unknown guy into the mix when things were starting to click at the end of last year?!?! What is the plan here??

Thi
