Went to South Dakota last week and had some pretty good pheasant action in spite of all the standing corn and hot weather. Now I will concentrate on archery deer season.

We could easily set up an IHN hunting group next year. Or fishing for that matter. I'm game driving up to Canada with some of you screws for some Eyes and Northern.... Maybe sneak in a Lake Trout or two!

BTW I got drawn for an Indian Resevation Bull Elk tag!!!! Like winning the lotto, pretty sure the guy from GF&P said they gave out only 4 Bull tags. My understanding is they have a well managed elk herd with some nice trophy bulls. Head out the 1st week in December, with any luck I can get an elk pretty quick and maybe get some more pheasant hunting in. ( it never works out that way)

Those will be tasty.
