Such fucking bullshit that the league allows this to happen.

The Devils got the worst of all this since they got penalized by a contract the league approved (Kovalchuk). Now the league in essence is allowing the Yotes to circumvent the cap by adding a player who will never play for them and is a LEAGUE EMPLOYEE to help hit the floor. Does that mean we can trade Hossa the last two years of his contract to someone who needs the cap floor as long as he goes on the long term injury reserve or some bullshit list?
