I had this in the old boards. They opened the tour in Chicago yesterday. It was an un fucking believable show. They had little to no rust compared to what they sounded like last year.

Trey is a life long Flyers fan and stopped to congratulate the crowd like the class act he is. As for our Chicago fans, when he said "I've been a Flyers fan for 30 years" he was immediately boo'd. Yesterday was definitely the best day of my life, woke up at 6, Stanley Cup Parade. Went to the Phish tour opener, got congratulated by another Jedi and then got an unreal show.

I heard they were selling Phish concert shirts with Trey's silhouette as the Indian Head? As a big Flyer's Fan, that sounds really stupid (not to mention as many like to remind us here the Indian Head is sacred).

Yea I was about to buy one but had no money. They looked cool as hell. And if we can put Jako's face on it Trey's can definitely go on it. I'm sure I'm one of the few who thinks so though.

This shirt was also out there. My buddy took this picture when he saw it and sent it to me.

Damn that shirt is pretty awesome, wish I could have gotten one.

Hahah, he is one of the classy Flyers fans. Like all the correct spellings for a Phish thread. I'll be a phan for life.
Isn't Phish like the modern day Grateful Dead?
In terms of fans following them the whole tour, each show being completely different, them centering on live concerts as opposed to studio albums, the drugs, there shows have shakedown streets, long songs, improvisation, both got Ben and Jerry's ice cream there a lot alike.

However there music is a whole lot different if you look past all that. I was too young to see the Dead but I've seen them solo and together and they sound great to me. And I'm sure its not the same as the 70's and 80's, but its a hell of a lot better than most of the shit that people call music today.

I don't have a problem with Phish and Trey is hella talented... just seems like that shirt is less about the band and more about taking advantage of Chicago fans while they were here. But what do I know?

Yea the shirts definitely taking advantage of the Hawks popularity. But for all we know a die hard fan made the shirts. I would really like one with ANASTASIO on the back. If there selling them at Alpine I'm definitely gonna grab one.

I also saw an awesome Rangers jersey, but for the shoulder patch it was the Steal Your Face sign, the back said Dead, and the front had an awesome variation of the Rangers logo with Grateful Dead substitutes.
