Sweep time? Sure hope so. Would mitigate a 1-3 at Baltimore.

Let's run with Adam Eaton.

Who the hell is "Jake"? Is he a wrestler with a big snake? Heard he had the snake on roids. Any truth to that?

What are you talking about 1-3 at Baltimore? Why the pessimistic BS? This team is showing that it is a much much better team than anyone had reason to expect. Adding the players in the off season brought in very good two way position players who were also great clubhouse guys. Then you have Latos who had shown himself to be a very capable starter in the past and is very much proving himself once again. Also, getting Nate Jones back healthy is also a huge factor.

Certainly this team will not continue at this pace. However, when you have Sale, Q, Rodon, and Latos, it is unlikely that they will have bad streaks because they have stoppers in the rotation along with quality arms throughout the pen. And this team has not really begun to hit which they will.

1) Baltimore is probably the second best team in the AL on offense behind only the Red Sox. Our offense is going to have to score earlier than the 7th inning if we want to compete
2) John Danks is almost a guaranteed loss each time he takes the mound. That's one loss right there.
3) Mat Latos has been fine. But not Chris Sale fine, more like Phil Hughes fine which worries me against better hitting teams. I think this is a game he gets beat pretty good.

I'd be thrilled with 2-2 but I think until our offense comes around (if it does) I'm going to be scared of the better hitting teams.

I just do not get it. They just faced Texas and the Jays who have great offensive talent. I am not sure the O's are better than either of those teams offensively. The offenses that I actually worry about are the teams like Oakland who take a lot of pitches and work the counts and don't strike out much. I still think that we need another left handed hitter to balance the line-up but a guy like Abreau can carry a team all by himself when he gets going and he will. Meantime, these guys are hitting in the key situations throughout the line-up. It is like a different guy in every game.

One other thing that is very positive for me. THe effectiveness of the bull-pen is saving the arms of the starters. Q was a perfect example yesterday. They could get him out of there after 6 innings and turn it over to the pen. It also keeps all of the pitchers in the game and having work regularly. That is a very good thing both for effectiveness as well as spirit throughout the team.

Truthfully, I cannot remember a pitching streak like the Sox are having. WHen your top three starters(Sale, Q, and Latos) are 13-1 for the month of April, that is fucking amazing. I guess what I am also saying, Brett, is to relax, quit worrying, a just enjoy their success:)

Sure there is no love for the Sox. The lovable losers got the headlines even when they were one of the shittiest teams in baseball. I also have to laugh at how the local boys cover up the "Jake" PED controversy which is covered everywhere but Chicago. IT is like when SamME was sweating his ass off from the Roids he was taking and busting home-runs all over the place. Not a peep from the local pukes.

Roids controversy? You mean the random thing said by Stephen A. Smith that he should get sued for because he has no basis of a claim. You are really special. The Sox announcers even said he should sue and were disgusted by the accusations. They must be Cubs fan boys.
