This is another one of those reports where I'm wondering if we're hearing the WHOLE story? Because it just seems ridiculous that both the police AND the company owning the property could be this despicable to another human being for an honest mistake.
Not that what was reported DIDN'T happen - just that if you spin it this way, who can possibly say it doesn't sound ridiculous?
Well, i was kinda thinking the same way, but I mean, just look at how beautiful that lake is, I mean the boats are outrageous and the exclusive clientele... I mean, you probably have all sort of high falutent people needing to protect they property against these thank you letter writing maniacs...
but seriously, like you I'm a little skeptical, but only to the point where I believe everything up to her reaction. I can guarantee when they told her to stand up because they were putting the cuffs on, that she wasn't as civil anymore. One thing I did wonder was who does she work for? Did it say? Another theory is that she had just come from soliciting (no not that kind) the private property area with flyers or what not (she's in town for a few months on business?) and came out to write the "thank you cards" to the people she just bothered and someone called the cops on her to complain, maybe even a rival to the lake company trying to get people to spend time/ vacation elsewhere? Or sell they slip/dock? Who knows. Definitely more all the way around. I mean how would the cops know that she was trespassing by just seeing a woman on a bench unless someone called them on her. Sounded like it wasn't even real cops but lake cops? Or is that the name of the town too?
