From what I have watched, Nords been Frolik-lite in the Rock. Morin has nothing left to prove there. He is a man among boys.
Pirri has the hands, but his back checking hasn't been Q standard. The writing was on the wall once he stopped scoring no matter who his lines mate were. If he thinks he can skate by on his offense, he needs to open up his vision like when he is in the A. If anybody has watched Pirri while in Rockford, he is two different players. He is obviously thinking too much under Q and his positioning in his own zone is horrid.
His best bet was while centering Kane was get him the puck and go straight to the net. Players who play with Kane suddenly think they can play like him(Versteeg). You just cant. Pirri has incredible vision and playing with another player who demands the puck, like Kane, isn't gonna help him out. He doesn't fit on a bottom two line, he doesn't play that type of game, and you sure as hell aren't putting him in Toews spot.
Pirri would be better off as trade bait for a vet who hasn't won the Cup yet that Toews can hand the Cup to first. Wait for it.
