If he can walk, he could be that special SS the White Sox have been looking for a long, long time.

It was a very good play but not the "Play of the year". Plays like his happen all of the time throughout baseball.

I've not seen a play like that this year.

Throwing while in the air is hard to do and he did go deep in the hole to do it, but not play of the year worthy.

They had it as the #1 baseball play on sportscenter but to each their own.

I'll say this, though, the kid is really a nice addition to the team.

yep. His movements, speed, and focus look elite. Something reminds me of a young Reyes. very well put together kid. Doubtful his bat can ever achieve that level, but he should remain in lineup for a half decade minimum.

Sox have something building if they keep the core together and can figure out how to appeal to some fans and create revenue, to spend not to fill old mans coffers.

I don't know bud - he very well might. Read something the other day where he is very cognizant that his plate discipline (talking walks) needs to improve and he is still awfully young. He's saying and doing a lot of the right things - I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

And I NEVER would've guessed he would be the lead off in less than a month up in the bigs, let alone have 4 dingers...

Watching that game tonight and hitting against a guy throwing 100+, I was impressed. I like his aggressiveness against the fastball yet having an ability to adjust against the slider/curve. In that at bat, the guy had a 101 on the gun and threw him a couple 88 mph breaking pitches. He hung the last one and the kid hit it about 400 feet to right center field. That was fucking awesome to me.
