more like a rec league, tho...only half the players go to church...

18 minute halves, continuous clock except for the last minute of the 1st half, and last 2 minutes of the 2nd half...

We won 75-44...we had 6 players...they had 10-12.
Scoring 75 points w/ a continuous clock is just silly.

Our SG had 26 points. Didn't see his shooting %, but the dude had to shoot 70%+. Just couldn't miss.

I had my season high in points........2?
Also had 8-9 assists...

<3 playing those games.


Anybody else play rec leagues?

hahah, I'm 5'6 and white...not that big of a deal, but probably the reason I don't hardly ever shoot...

Other team played a zone tonight though...didn't make much sense seeing as they had 2x as many players as we did...but I'm left-handed, and the other team never adapted to it...drove into the lane and layed the ball off for an easy assist several times.

I used to all the time. Then I turned 17 and was to old. Live it up as long as you can. Tons of fun and memories.

I play at the local gym all the time. My friend hosts tournaments at this Laos Church. Me and a buddy made a team.. I'm playing PG.


I was at the gym Sunday night with my team playing... and the opposing team had a 7ft dude who played ball at Temple... He guarded me for some reason. I'm a 5'10 PG.. i was like wtf

Back in the day, use to just shoot for the hell of it with a buddy. I was becoming a 3pt nightmare lol

I drove on him all game. One play I drove on him, got fouled and flipped up a shot and nailed it. I was excited lol.

Used to play church slowpitch..

till the catholics in my town got all whiny because they kept losing all the time..

then they quit.. then there was no league.

bastards.

You got that right lol. Internet has no height restrictions lol. And if you think thats short, Im taller than most of the guys on my shift. I feel like Im 5'9 lol

I play in a league at my gym. It is pretty competitive. I am a decent player, average double figures. I use my strength on offense to dominate smaller players.

5"9. I play church league. I put up about 15 points/6 assists/5 rebounds per game.

Height don't mean shit it church league.

Fact. I am only 5'10. But I am 220 pounds and can knock around the little guards that try to guard me.

Then when they switch off of me, I just drive around the bigs.
