to me it would come down to money. im skeptical of the inconsistent recent couple of years with both. both guys can be lights out but both have (especially santana) a velocity drop and or inconsistent velocity. i think jiminez is a pitcher and not a thrower and i do like how santana bounced back and is emerging as a pitcher and not a thrower. this is tough

For me it's money and the pick. I no they are jsut lottery tickets, but I don;t want to give up our 2nd lottery ticket and money for either. If I had too, I would go with Santana. He's pitched in a tougher division (AL West) and so that helps me break the tie.

he talks like we have this history of loving beckham. in the last 2 years you defended him because of his glove...everyone else here has hated him so silences point is invalid. so basically to sum it up for silence...no one here overrates him.

Stanton is younger is only reason plus CarGo has an injury history. It's a shame him and Tulo are always hurt.
