“The Chicago Code” is FOX television’s newest Monday night show, airing in the 8:00 PM CST timeslot. Despite steady numbers, the show is still facing not being renewed for a second season. Recent ratings show the series holds steady anywhere between 7-8 million viewers since its premiere on Feb. 07, 2011.

Like any other good story "The Chicago Code" needs more than 1 season to really tell it all. "The Chicago Code" paints a picture giving viewers a look at the deep roots of Chicago history, it’s multi-cultural appeal, the corruption that lies within and diversity that makes Chicago one of the most American of all America’s cities.

Season 1 of "The Chicago Code" brought in approximately $25 million dollars in revenue to the local community and kept thousands of jobs in the city during these challenging times. Join us to ignite the flame of the spirit of possibilities, and keep this story going.

his show brought $25 million in revenue to Chicago during its production. Help make it an easy decision for another network to pick it up for a second season.

I love this show. I was pissed when I heard it was gona be cancelled and a surprised.

Season finale on today. Hopefully it won't be the last episode.

I could see TNT actually picking it up if FOX doesn't want it anymore. They picked up Southland from NBC I think and TNT has been lucky with the pick up.

Thatd be awesome! I love it too me and the wife watch it every week! Its cool watching it and seeing things in Chicago that we saw on our vacation ... I think a part of the ratings problems was just the timing of the release with the playoffs and etc

Yeah it's awesome because I know the some places where scenes takes place. Your prollr right, the playoffs is probably a big factor in ratings.

Do you think the Chicago Code will get saved?

I dunno I hope so! They seem pretty set on keeping it on the air on their facebook page!

I'll gladly sign the petition. Love this show. Great storyline, plot and love seeing the sites around home. Great show portraying Chicago. :)

one of the few decent shows on a major network IMO, hopefully it will make it to TNT though, Southland got much better on TNT, like the whole production changed or something...

Thanks man! Its mine and my wifes favorite show to watch together.. I love Chicago best city in the world I miss that place

I just watched the season finale. Very good show. I don't know if it will do any good, but I went ahead and signed the petition. Hopefully Fox will give it one more season. most shows of this kind take more than one season to develop an audience and many actually have more viewers in their second season than they do in the first.
