Don't do it. If it's widely considered too early a fire Ryan Poles for the overall bad job that he's been doing then that same standard should apply to an extension also.

If things finally start to turn for the better I'd rather see the FO just pony up more money after finally seeing results.

That would be cents on the dollar in contrast to what it will coat the FO if they do extend him now and have things continue as they currently are on the field of play
