**** the Police. They're just there to maintain the status quo for the wealthy elite. What ever happened to freedom of speech and the right to assemble? GTFOH.

Like the great George Carlin said "you don't have rights, you have temporary privileges ", which can be taken away from you any time.

You didn't hear? Yeah, we're not doing that anymore.

Seriously though, that's dumb. They're enforcing the law and nothing else.

Um...what exactly did the protesters do wrong? Did they not get a permit to peaceably assemble? Did they start throwing poo at the police?

Serious question.

Except for the fact that it does happen.. The majority of police in our country protects everyone.

There are exceptions to that majority that do protect others more than others.

Nope, that memo was muffled through the sound of true democracy.
and corporatism:lol:

Yes! Take that, you liberal hippie ******s!

Ehh, its mostly young people. You know how much the country hates it young people, sending em to die in meaningless wars all the time. Obama sais he supported the protestees, but doesn't stop the crackdown  left, right, two sides of the same coin.

They don't have connections like the corporate backed Tea-Party. Plus they don't just protest and go home.

Right, but I thought the point of the protest was to just sit there and make themselves heard 24/7. I haven't been keeping up with the news, obviously

Mainstream media doesn't cover that. Mainstream media=corporate owned. Protesters=protesting corporate interest in government among other things. So you can see the conflict of interest when in comes to the news. They'd rather tell you about Kim Kardashian or Linsay Lohan.

All I'm saying is that if the protesters aren't doing anything but sitting there and being loud while filing the right permits, they shouldn't be accosted by the police, so something is definitely fishy. I'm surprised there aren't a bunch of lawyers about to sue over all these random arrests I'm hearing about.

Let them protest. Last time I checked, this is the U.S.A. Not Saudi Arabia.
