So, we got rid of our cable. Is it true that the post-season Cubs games are on TBS/ESPN only? What happened to being on a major network? CBS, NBC, ABC or FOX?

GO CUBS. Hell of a win tonight.

Thanks.

if you don't hate watching on the internet. Fox has some of the games btw and i think the WS but division is split between FS1, TBS, and ESPN and maybe one other network.

From my understanding the NLCS is still on TBS.

Bastards. WTH? TBS bid the most money to get the games? Doesn't seem right that these games aren't on "regular tv" that you have to have cable to watch. SMDH.

I will and I do, but the wife and kids are getting into it. Watched the game last night at Smokin' T's in Long Grove, had a blast. $$$ starts to add up. If Cubs go all the way, that could be as many as 19 games (I think) at $40-70 a night, that would be $760-$1,330 for the baseball season. YIKES. I'd be better off getting cable back. LOL. Which I'm looking into. Probably can't get it installed by Friday night, though.

I may have found a solution. SlingTV has TBS and ESPN, for $20 a month. We just got a Firestick, but it also work on Roku. Will let you all know if it works.
